Surviving Seawork…

Seawork 2016, new venue, lots of new exhibitors, lots of new visitors and the first Ping Pong table to grace the exhibition halls! The team had been practicing hard, I had even bought my own “blade” showing true commitment and determination to our stands centre piece.
As day one arrived, seafarers, OEM’s, sales managers, harbour masters, project managers, boat builders and engineers – just a few of the clients and candidates who visited the new EMS stand to see what we are all about and discuss our services and took on the #tabletennischallenge

We officially launched EMS at the 2015 Seawork exhibition. A year down the line, we are stronger, bigger and working with some internationally recognised maritime companies. To mark the occasion, we invited clients and professionals to have a drink on us! The turnout was great and a refreshing beer was well deserved after a long day in my heels!

My focus (and passion) for the last nine months has been working with clients that provide safety, life saving and PPE products/equipment to the maritime industry. I am always interested to learn about the latest technologies, new legislations and even try on the odd survival suit! I decided to brave the heat of the exhibition hall and don a VIKING Immersion Suit (Approved according to 96/98/EC SOLAS). I decided not to head out to the dive tank to take it for a test drive – next year maybe!

It is safe to say “I survived Seawork in a survival suit”
